Five scientific theme weeks (and related scientific conferences) will take place during the jubilee, as listed below
- 6-12 March: Is the World Becoming a Better Place?
- 22-29 April: The Digital Society
- 15-20 May: Sustainability Week
- 4-10 September: The Amazing Brain
- 16-21 October: The University of the Future
Global Week will highlight professional development within internationalisation for staff at Lund University and colleagues at our international partner universities. Themes includes: Internationalisation of the Curriculum; the Student Experience; and Strategies for Partnerships.
During autumn and spring, two culture weeks will take place. The weeks will be filled with music performances, art exhibitions and cultural activities for all ages.
- 8-14 May 2017: Live at Lundagård
- 11-17 September 2017: Art in Time and Space
What would a jubilee be without a jubilee party? The party will be in Lundagård and it includes all students and staff at Lund University.
Re-live Lund! Our homecoming weekend is for all alumni who want to revisit Lund and enjoy the splendour of our 350th anniversary. The Alumni Network is inviting you all to an extensive selection of festivities, filled with student memories, an upscale dinner and entertainment.
The anniversary year offers several exhibitions of art, photography, plants and historical objects and musical performances.
